Site map of Orange Theory
We design the current situation of orange theory site map to understand how it offers services to their users and find where we want to be later.

Affinity diagrams
We create the affinity diagram based on the result of the survey & interviews, and categorized them in three main parts:
-
Considering positive & negative points of orange theory's members
-
Did the same task as the first part for other gym members.
-
Checked positive & negative points of orange theory's members about OTF app and website
-
Collect information about positive & negative points for online classes
-
Finally, we conclude our ideas from the comments of these groups.

First ideas from results

Persona
The insights we gained from surveys and interviews, leading up to the persona. The main goal is to display those patterns and pain points, which allowed us to empathize with users.

User journey map
Creating a user journey map helped us better understand the user's expectation and their experiences using the app. We illustrated the journey map for Amy from her situations and the steps she took to find Orange theory as the right solution for her goals.

User Flow for complementary app
After conducting user studies and peruse the current situation of Orange Theory, it's a good time to create user flow for complementary application to highlight the main features of the product.
Hand sketch wireframe
We drew some sketches to lay out our different ideas before spending a lot of time on the gray-scale wireframe.
Wireframe
Wireframes were created in gray-scale to define the template of screens.
After gaining valuable insight & feedback on the frames, we made a lot of changes on the design.

The lessons of this project
-
Research is a must - I couldn't have designed a product users love without the help of the people who will actually use it. The user survey revealed unexpected information and made it possible to adapt the product to user's needs.
-
The users are always right - conducting user testing and evaluating users feedback at various stages helped me to discover and eliminate pain point at early stages.
-
Attention to users convenience - I've learned it in any part of the user journey, after the conducting of user surveys and interviews.
