SABR

Sabr is inspired by the Persian myth of Zaal and Simorgh from the Shahnameh. The project explores the idea of sabr (patience) not as passive waiting, but as a process shaped by time, repetition, and care.

Through digital animation and immersive environments built in Unity, the work translates elements of Persian storytelling and carpet motifs into a slow visual narrative. The animation moves through three stages that reflect separation, protection, and return.

By combining myth, craft, and digital space, Sabr explores how stories can continue to live and transform across time and distance.
